The Dockers, licking their wounds from a second round
defeat at the hands of the Sydney Swans will look forward to
the relatively easy mission of defeating a flagging Adelaide
Football Club in the confines of the house of pain on
Sunday. The Crows have been defeated convincingly in both
rounds to start the season by the Kangaroos at the MCG and
the Brisbane Lions at Football Park and look vulnerable,
despite having a full strength line up which looks dangerous
on paper. The usual stars are all there for the Crows who
inexplicably are playing really crappy football. Age must be
a factor for the wrinkly Crows who have avoided the youth
policy in the hope of pinching another premiership before
the likes of Smart, Ricciuto, McLeod and Hart all retire. The
Freo boys will be looking forward to making Adelaide eat
crow after Ricciuto's famous laughter after saying he was
taking the game against the Dockers really seriously. Well,
this time the shoe is on the other foot and likes of
Medhurst, Moose, Haselby and Pavlich won't be reluctant to
sink it right between their cheeks on Sunday. Antoni
"Cookie Monster" Grover, has been included in the
line up as Ryley Dunn has a rest. Polak has also been named
but his knee is still yet to decide... For the cows, only
Ladhams is missing from their squad, so there will be no
excuses for their impending belting... Discuss
